12 Chic Ways to Style Rugs Over Carpet

1) Soften Your Child’s Room

The blue & white rug defines space while functioning as extra protection from accidental spills in the craft room. We purposefully tied the rug into the feel and color of the bench accent pillows to give the room continuity. We love this fun patterned look!

We wanted this baby’s room to feel extra soft and imaginative, so layering a rug on top of the carpet fit well with our intention! An added bonus is the visual and tactile stimulation for your little one during playtime.
